Hi everyone,
It’s been a disappointing week here at Whitby Fishing Trips with the weather in Whitby and the surrounding area preventing us from being able to get you out fishing over the Easter Bank holiday weekend, due to the Easterly winds returning causing big treacherous seas.
With the spring tides and big seas the waves and swell can be seen rolling over the harbour extension walls.
The weather is set to get worse over Monday and Tuesday and well on into the week ahead with further snow also forecast . We do have trips planned later on in the week and hope the weather settles so we can get you back out fishing. With the weather been poor we have had time to put up our new advertising board which is located on the railings above the departure pontoon. Fingers crossed for a turn in the weather and hopefully our next update will be about trips we have run and catch report. Please look out for our regular updates. Tight lines for now !!
