Its been a hectic weekend with 3 hour taster trips, here at Whitby Fishing Trips!
We started on Friday with lovely weather so we departed at 10am and set off down towards Sandsend on the Uptiding grounds.
Big spring tides and an easterly breeze meant choppy seas and to much tide for drifting so over the side the anchor went.
Immediately we were straight into the fish and this continued all over the weekend with over 50 Coleys and over 30 Codlings coming over the rails.
We had Codlings up to 5lb and Coleys up to 2lb and everybody caught fish and had a great fishing experience!
The weather for the rest of the week is looking poor with Northerlies forecast until late in the week.
