We finally managed to get out on our maiden trip today!!! After having to cancel last week’s launch due to a delay in the boats’ Coding Certificate arriving which allows us to legally carry passengers. The weather was also not so good with another blast from the East disrupting pretty much the whole of the country with more winds and snow blizzards.
The fishing today was extremely hard work on the uptiding grounds around Robin Hood’s bay and the Highlights with 6 anglers aboard we managed a keeper a piece all Codlings around the 2lb Mark.
We also returned a couple of undersized Codlings to fight another day.
But that is why it is called Fishing and not Catching!! 🙂
The weather conditions are set to take another turn for worst over the Easter holidays so fingers crossed the forecast changes.
