Where do we start!!!!
It’s been non-stop over the Bank Holiday and Whit holidays with 3hr taster trips and the fish just keep coming over the rails!
With Codlings up to 7lb and we lost count of the amount we put back safely as they were just under size.
We have also seen Herring and lots of Coleys.
The majority of the catch has been on the 3 mile Ground, which is North of the Whitby Harbour, with odd days fished under anchor due to wind and tide conditions. But the In-shore waters are still producing good numbers of fish!
The weather has been a little unsettled, making the fishing really difficult at times, and the fog over the last few days has brought next to zero viability.
The fog has started to clear and the winds are settling down, so hopefully, we can look forward to another busy weekend putting you on the fish.
