We’re really sorry for the delay in our update!
But it’s been mega hectic here at Whitby Fishing Trips with the School Summer Holidays coming to an end, and a full diary to get through, it’s been non stop.
We now have a few days off with the tail end of the hurricane passing over the UK over for the next few days.
We have also had the Boat out of the water for the essential yearly Polish, Anti-Foul and some major work to the Sea Cocks, we have renewed 3 in total, and most importantly, the Deep Sea Seal had to be replaced for an up to date self packing unit for your safety and our peace of mind at sea. Deep sea seals can fail and sea water will access the boat if a total failure ever occurred so we took it out and replaced with a self packing unit which can’t fail to the extent of major water ingress.

Also this weekend saw the wcsa autumn fishing festival get underway and on Monday we took our first booking in the festival and what a trip it was with over 40 Ling boated to 11lb 10 0z and and a good stamp around 8lb to 10lb the lads rods were non stop what a cracking day it was. Unfortunately we didn’t make the prize table as bigger fish were caught on the day so we just missed out. Also during the last week of school holidays the Mackerel and Cod continued to come over the rails with a Cod over 11lb caught and a nice Gurnards around 2lb.
The fishing this year so far has been the best for a long time and long may it continue.
