The past few weeks have been a bit hit and miss, with the weather limiting our days at sea! So we have snuck out whenever we have seen a gap in the forecast!
On the few trips we’ve managed to get out on, we have seen around 40 Codlings boated per trip, so an improvement on the beginning of the month. Blacks and unwashed Squid continue to be the bait of choice.
Our latest set back apart from the weather has been the dreaded Seals! They are once again becoming a nuisance, stealing several fish from the lines, meaning we’re constantly on the move to try and loose them!
